What is HYROX?
Herox is a combination of fitness, functional training and strengtht in one race. Think of running in combination with strength and conditioning elements such as wallballs, farmer walk, burpees and lunges. You can do the race alone, with a partner or with four people.
You can already participate unlimitedly for € 45,- per month. Do you also want to do fitness and group lessons? Then you can also take a combi subscription from € 59.95 per month.
WHAT IS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING?
The strength & conditioning lessons are aimed at increasing physical strength and improving fitness. This full body fitness lesson consists of: a good warm-up, a technical part in which you learn to perform the exercises correctly, fitness exercises and a lot of attention is paid to mobility and stretching. Depending on the group size, we work in circuit form, station form, high intensity interval training (HIIT), WOD or individually. We work with our own body weight, kettlebells, slamballs and dumbbells, but will also sometimes use the Olympic bar.
The class is accessible for all levels. Preferably, training is done in sports shoes that have only been worn indoors, but training barefoot is also allowed.
Hyrox
Hyrox is a functional fitness challenge where you alternate running laps with challenging exercises, for both strength and fitness.
